5678
and 5,6,7,8!
weekend just whizzed past and its back to weekdays again... Work work work... anyway, here's a recap starting from last thursday.
It all started with 5,6,7,8... A Nike launch for one of the body combat outfit, which Denise got us to go to... It wasn't too bad, except for the horrible Hip-Hoppers. Think some of them will fare better as grass-hoppers... As usual, Chincilla girl did her dissappearing act the moment we decided to get down to the dance floor to jiggy... [ Pause to think... Does she know Ninjatsu? ]. Before that, the "Shake Hi-ker" guy was really irritating and he insisted that the people in the crowd get down and get hippy... which didn't work obviously... Yo YO yo! Lookin' 'ere, this ain't anywhere else dude. This is SING-Ah-Pour! Siao eh, if you don't try so hard. Some show-off will go one! Don't need to do until so like that lah! [ Shivers... Too much Singlish. NOOooooo!!! Pai seh pai seh. Ahem. ] Oh ya... his big hair was hidden by the Nike cap he was wearing... With the price tag still on... Ha ha... Cute... But I'm certain that the sponsors would be rich enough to spare you a cap right? Are wardrobes-on-loan nowadays are so bad, they wouldn't let you remove the price tag? Hope it doesn't go back on the shelves for sale... Eeee... Really wanted to stick around for the Stephane Pompougnac : Hotel Costes CD launch... But the IAD bunch had to move off to meet Patrick and Liting... Blimey! Oh well, so we all huddled into a cab... ALL 5 of us... So we had the poor cabbie complaining all the way... But he still drove us lor... Wierd... But who cares... So we got to Esplanade, met up with Pat & Liting... And I threw an episode there, over some issue... But the bottom-line is... We all got to Lau Pat Sat for makan and some spooks [ Thanks Wan huh! ]... and later we went to Mac-Cafe at East Coast... Hung out till 4am... Konked out.
8am on Good Friday... I was already up. No thanks to Mummy... Went with my family to Mandai Columbarium for Qing Ming. It's barely that start of the festival and the entire place is already filled with people... and I do not mean the Dead... Everyone was burning offerings... so the air was thick with smoke and ashes... and my poor eyes stung... and it didn't help when I got so little sleep the previous night. After that I had to go back to MOMO to help Uncle Moh with some work... and later we went to site to check on the place. Sigh... On Good Friday. But I love what I do...What to do?
Came Sat... It's work again... and later in the evening, I met up with Ah Neo and Lena to hang out... Oh ya... Lena has a new baby... It's her sewing machine... Which she bought that very night. So the entire evening, she was obssessed with pointing out what she can do with that thing. So I let her have my my new towel, which I got from Campers' Corner earlier that day, and try to have my last name sewn on... Eh Lena, you better not destroy my new towel ok? [ Stress... ] I have alot of faith in your sewing ok? [ Cross my fingers. ] Ok?
It's Easter Sunday! Hee... By then I already gave out my easter eggs to the folks at work... Hee! Being hopelessly forgetful, I totally forgotten to bring 'em out for the people I was meeting on Easter... Oh well, still can eat at home... Hee hee hee... Don't worry, I'd bring it to the Dip Show this weekend ok? Hopefully I'd remember... =P So I met up with Lena to have a look at her new place further up at Katong... Nice. After that we went to Arab Street to hunt for her sewing stuff... [ Read: OBSSESSION WITH SEWING MACHINE ] only to find all the sequinn, buttons and beads shops closed... Odd... After which we ended up at Bras Basah to get sewing suppies [ Read: OBSSESSION WITH SEWING MACHINE ] ... Cos there wasn't any Flea and Easy at Zouk... Sigh. Why? Why?!! So Lena went to church and I met up with Patrick and Liting at Esplanade, so we took Cha Cha out to National Stadium to watch the Motor-Cross rally... Quite entertaining lar... and later to East Coast Park again... and that's all for the weekend.
Today, after the photoshoot at Sengkang, Uncle Moh and I went to the Junk shop to pick up some of the stuff we bought for the office... and I got this vintage phone... It's the kind that you'd see in Mary Poppin's... So cool... hee hee hee... Got to get daddy install it at home... so cute... hee hee hee... Pray that Moh doesn't duy the spooky looking pram that was standing outside the shop. I'm sure Pam will scream when she sees it...
Okies... Very lazy to write anymore... Think I'd go read my Lemony Snicket. Till my next post... Ta Ta!
