To the airfields!!!
It's WEEKEND!!! Woohoo!!! Met up with Zaihan & Dee for Dinner at the Sunset Grill and Pub in Seletar. It's a l'il hard to find. The last time we went with the Longan Gang, it took us 2 hours before we finally found it. This place is extremely popular and if you don't have a reservation, you'd probably have better luck at Jalan Kayu's Prata. The entire restaurant is really old school, kinda like it's been stuck in the 80s. NEAT! Heh heh... We stuffed ourselves with a good helping of cheesie fries, deep fried mushrooms ( yummy! ), half a dozen of POWER buffalo wings ( level 07... it totally killed me with that surge of spicyness by mid wing. next time i'd be sure to opt for level 02 or 03. it's kinda like some ol' sega game... 10 levels of spicyness in all... by level 10 you'd prob be so wasted you'd be drinking buckets of water to put out that imaginary fire on your tongue. wonder how's it like if they have a 'king' level... hmm... ), l'il burgers and i've got a plate of pan fried fish... bake potato and coleslaw on the side... post dinner activity was, slurpin' on some icecream by the seletar dam... ( not dam with a double 'm'... damm... but just dam. ) from the picture, you'd see that dee's having the classic wafer icecream... zaihan's with the old cone and mine's the roti kind. somehow, zaihan's chocolate icecream tasted very much like coffee. didn't help that i asked for a mixture of icecream at the uncle's own discretion on my slice of roti... despite having every single scope from the same tub... i was offered a odd mix of chocolate, peppermint and sweet corn, which tasted strange one after another. but nonetheless it was really nice to just have it melt on my tongue. thanks dee and zaihan for the dinner treat! =)
