Teacher... Can I go to the toilet pleazze?

Ring ring!!!

The ringing of bells in the early morning... Students chattering in classrooms... Teachers scrambling around the staff room, frantically searching for the things they'd need for the lesson... These were the things that I've been looking at since Wednesday morning... Except that the students were oblivious to the frenzy that the teachers and relief teachers alike go through. It's like the teachers were all ducks... Calm above the water... but beneath the surface... they were paddling hard with their webbed feets to keep moving...

Lessons were really fun. Especially, when the kids enjoy the worksheets that I've given them. Well, not that they were anything related to their subjects... I've been giving them personality tests and stuff like that. Work like magic. And there were some students that were just really hardworking and nice. Hoever not every period was fun and laughter. Some of the students proved to be really difficult and plain impossible... There was one in Sec. 3 that simply refused to do the maths worksheet and he simply snoozed through 3 periods. Then, there was the chatter-box team... No amount of telling off would send them back to their seats... Until you totally blew up on them. Then there was the absurbly rebellous nut... Well, he was part of the chatter gang and when told to scoot, he just stared at me... So we went through a l'il staring game, and of course the teacher out-lasted him. We were at it for so long till his eyes got all teary. Ha ha... One point for teacher, zero for naughty student.

Think what I've been through for the past 3 days were merely an appetizer of what the kids at this secondary school can do. Till next monday....

Ta-ta!
