Hisham & Ivana's Engagement

Congratulations to Hisham & Ipan on your engagement on the 6th of January 2007!

The Longan gang flew up to Jakarta over the weekend to be part of this really exciting and wonderful milestone for the 2 of them. Before the event in the evening, we took time off to visit Mal Taman Anggrek. Had lunch there before we went on to explore the mall, which housed an ice-skating rink, Zara, Metro and the yummy J.Co Donuts ( Recommended by Ipan... Which was really yummy and their reg. ice chocolate drink was like WHOA! Very cho-lo-lert-ti Sia! ) The girls got their hair done with the salons...

Went back to catch 40 winks, before we got dressed for the evening at Shangri-La.

The ballroom for the engagement was really nicely done up... Loads of flowers and everything! Nothing like what we ever seen before. Really impressed! =) Click on the title above to access the link for the pictures... It's all been snapped on my cellphone's cam... So it's really blur... Oppz. Oh ya! Ipan had this really gorgeous gown with loads of neat sequins worked into it and Hisham looked really good with the suit. Wan & Rostina did a song to close the evening... Think Wan got some girl admirers after they were thru with their performance... Hee hee... Stayed on till late... Went back and washed up...

Day 02. Begun the day with a dip in the hotel pool and jacuzzi with Shamin whlist the rest slept in or packed. Zaihan left for his Bundung leg of his indo trip... Checked out... Hisham and Ipan too the entire bunch out to buy some really yummy titbits. Bought some really yummy indo-mee ( instant noodles ) too... Highly recommended by Dee. Think I'm addicted to it... Hee... Sent the afternoon flight folks to the airport. Came back to town... Had lunch with Rostina & her sis at Grand Indonesia. It's one of the latest mall in town... Loads of nice "ar-tas" shops! But no dough to spend... Haiz. Found Crispy Kreme! YEAH!!! Donuts again... Bought a dozen back home... Yum yum... Now you know why I need to go to the gym more... Hahaha... Checked out Alun Alun, which sold Indo Designer Stuff like the magazine bag... Which was really made with neatly folded strips of magazine pages... Interesting!

Took a cab back to the airport... Got stuck in the famous Jakarta jam... For a moment... I thought I might miss my flight back home... Scared like hell lor.... Hahaha... But thank goodness I arrived an hour earlier than what I planned... So I decided to visit Taman Sari for some pampering... Tried the Javanese Lulur which was really refreshing... So much so... I fell asleep on the flight... Touched down in Singapore after the 1hr 20mins flight at 12midnight... and it's back to work again in the morning...
