Back to Civilian Life

Yoz! I’m back from my 5 days ICT yesterday afternoon… It’s not that I dig being in No. 4 or the Army… Or ICT for that matter… But I guess, it’s the people that I work with. I’m blessed to have them around… Officers, fellow Specialists and my 84 fellas… It’s been a good 5 days together, memories of our active days came flooding back. From them dreading me nagging at them to wake-up at reveille, to Shahul’s goon-du antics, to Shahril’s hourly dose of crap and my Makan-sutra gang’s bitching sessions… Hee… But the out-field and IPPTs totally drained me… I’m still suffering from it’s aftermath… Backache sia… Think I must be getting old… Sigh. Will be looking forward to the next Mob, ICT or gathering… Till then, I’d be missing you folks from Bravo.

Watched “Unleashed”, this Jet Lee show with Daniel and Ah Neo earlier. It’s an OK show… Not that I was very enthusiastic about it… Just thought that Jet’s English would have been better now… Well… Otherwise, the story-line wasn’t too bad... Was just wondering, was this yet another show to illustrate the Racism in Western films again… Jet Lee was cast as a man with a dog collar / leash, incapable of speaking fluent English, eating like some hungry uncivilized beast, slow on the uptake and almost spastic… Maybe, I’m just reading too much into it. Well… Go see the show and you’d know.

Will be looking forward to watching "Mardargascar" next week with my Slumber Gang... Those 'evil' penguins... Oooh... So cute... Hee hee hee...
